Kim & 2013 Iron Bowl Game
An alumna of Auburn University in Alabama, our Production, Customer Relations, and Design Development expert, Kim, shares one of her favorite college experiences, the 2013 Iron Bowl Game.
"My favorite memory is going to football games, specifically the Iron Bowl Game in 2013. In the Final quarter the clock ran out, we were tied with Alabama, and I thought we'd go into overtime. Alabama challenged a call on the final play of the game and the referee's decided that there should be one second left on the clock after the last play from Alabama's offense. I remember the stress of that moment, when the meanest College football teams and our biggest rival, was given the opportunity to beat us in a Hail Mary field goal attempt. And even more clearly I remember that stress flip to elation when we saw the kick was short, and that our receiver had caught the ball, and was running, and avoiding tackles, and he kept going, and then he ran it all the way into the end zone. He ran a field goal attempt all the way back across the field and he won us the game, with one second on the clock, and defeat staring at us, he ran it back and we won! The stadium erupted, we all lost our minds, the energy was insane. I was in the student section and we rushed the field, we hopped the ledge and landed in bushes that lined the field, and we yelled and cheered, and celebrated the best kind of victory I've ever seen in a sports arena. After leaving the stadium the streets were filled with people "rolling" trees on their way down to Toomer's Corner to roll the historic Oak trees, which have been covered in toilet paper after every auburn victory for 100 years. Except this time, not only were the Toomer's Oaks covered, but every tree I saw was covered, the street was covered, it looked like the square had been covered in snow. It was truly incredible to be a part of that victory, and to be able to share the experience with my family was even cooler."

Aly & Friends
Always reminiscing about her college days at UC San Diego, our Social Media and Blogger, Aly, values her lifelong connections as her most cherished memory.
"San Diego was filled with so many great moments, but I'd have to say the best ones were the simple times hanging out with my roommates. Though it seems like a basic, everyday thing, those memories just seem to be the ones that stuck the most and bonded us through and through. From the late night study sessions to the many food adventures, college was that much more enjoyable knowing that we were all persevering through the struggles of finals and creating memories together. And thankfully, nowadays, we still keep in touch to catch up and pick up where we left off."
